1. Prof. Fatima Umar Maigari — Youngest Female Professor in Gombe

Prof. Fatima Umar Maigari teaches Biochemistry at Gombe State University. She is the youngest professor in Gombe State and currently serves as the Director of Research and Innovation.

2. Prof. Aisha Sani Maikudi — One of Nigeria’s Youngest Law Professors

Prof. Aisha Sani Maikudi was the first female Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Abuja. She also became the first female Acting Vice-Chancellor of the university.

Although her tenure ended on February 6, 2025, her story continues to inspire many young women to believe in themselves and work hard.

3. Prof. Abdullahi Muhammad — Youngest Professor from Gombe State

Prof. Abdullahi Muhammad is a Professor of Chemical Pathology at Gombe State University. He studied Medicine (MBBS) and became a professor after about 15 years of training and hard work, making him the youngest professor from Gombe State.

4. Prof. Hadiza Hamma — Youngest Female Professor of Law in Northern Nigeria

Prof. Hadiza Hamma is from Yobe State and is known as the youngest female Professor of Law in Northern Nigeria. She studied at the University of Abuja and is respected for her work in legal education.
