A Nigerian mother has sparked reactions online after reprimanding her daughter for constantly telling men she just started talking to that she is hungry.
In the video, the mother advised her to stop what she described as subtle begging, saying it gives the wrong impression and could drive potential suitors away. She questioned why her daughter always claims to be hungry at the slightest opportunity, stressing that she does not starve her at home or deny her food.
According to her, asking men for food or money too early in conversations can make them lose interest, as it may come across as desperation rather than genuine connection.
