Chelsea legend, John Terry, has shared his reaction after the club ended its relationship with head coach Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea announced on Thursday that Maresca had left his job by mutual agreement. His exit came less than six months after he guided the club to win the FIFA Club World Cup.
Reacting to the news in a video shared on social media, Terry said he was shocked and disappointed by the decision. He explained that many people had called him expecting him to know what was going on at the club, but he said he was not involved with the first team.
Terry added that despite the setback, Chelsea still have important competitions to fight for this season, including the Champions League and the Carabao Cup.
He encouraged the players to stay focused, step up, and keep pushing forward no matter who takes over as the new manager.
