A controversial prophecy made in 2025 about late gospel singer Bunmi Akinnaanu, popularly known as Omije Ojumi, has resurfaced online — and it’s setting social media on fire following news of her death.
The video began trending just hours after her passing, reopening påinful conversations and raising unsettling questions.
📽️ What’s in the resurfaced video?
In the clip, a prophet identified as Yinka Omole speaks about Omije Ojumi’s illness, insisting it was not medical, but spiritual — and allegedly beyond hospital treatment.
🏹 “An arrow was fired spiritually”
According to the prophet:
Her sickness was caused by a spiritual ättäck
The illness could not be cured medically
Only intense prayers could reverse it
😳 Shocking claim: “It came from a prophet”
The most disturbing part of the prophecy was his claim that the alleged spiritual ättäck came from within a religious circle, adding that:
“The déàth arrow came from a prophet.”
🏔️ What he said could save her
Prophet Omole further claimed that God instructed that Omije Ojumi be taken to a secluded mountain, away from public view, where men of God would gather to pray fervently.
He spoke of seeing a dark cloud and warned that unless collective prayers were offered, the situation would worsen.
🗣️ His words (translated from Yoruba):
“God sent me to a woman who carries His covenant… She has been strǔck by a spiritual arrow. Her problem has no medical solution. Even if all the money in the world is spent, she won’t recover medically.
The arrow came from those who call on God’s name — from a prophet.
God said she is a glory, and we must pray so we don’t lose glory. This is not a prayer one person can pray alone.”
🌐 Mixed reactions online
Since her déàth, the resurfaced video has triggered heated debates:
Some believe the prophecy was a divine warning ignored
Others have condemned it as dangerous, insensitive, and exploitative
One thing is certain:
💔 Omije Ojumi is gone, but the questions, controversies, and conversations remain.
🕊️ Rest in peace, Omije Ojumi.
