The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has officially commenced its membership e-registration exercise, marking a significant step toward strengthening the party’s internal structure, improving data integrity, and enhancing effective grassroots coordination.
In a statement signed and released to Newsmen by the special Adviser to the Governor on legislative and political matters, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, The initiative, which targets the revalidation of existing members and the onboarding of new entrants, reflects the party’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive participation as it prepares for future political engagements in the state and across the country.

APC COMMENCES MEMBERSHIP E-REGISTRATION IN ONDO STATE, URGES MASS PARTICIPATION
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has commenced the ongoing membership e-registration exercise as part of deliberate efforts to strengthen the party’s internal structure and institutional capacity.
The objective of the exercise, among others, is to produce a reliable, credible and error-free membership register that will aid effective planning, coordination and decision-making at all levels of the party. The e-registration will also ensure proper documentation, revalidation of existing members and seamless onboarding of new members into the APC family.
While declaring open the 2-day training programme for registration officials, the Governor of Ondo State and Leader of the APC in the state, His Excellency, Hon. (Dr.) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, emphasized the critical importance attached to the e-registration exercise by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, even long before his emergence as President. The Governor noted that the exercise reflects the progressive ideals of transparency, accountability and data-driven planning that define the APC.
Governor Aiyedatiwa further reaffirmed that, as the leader of the party in Ondo State, the APC remains one united family, irrespective of diverse interests within the party, stressing that collective unity and discipline are essential to sustaining the party’s dominance and electoral success.
To ensure smooth implementation, the State Coordinator, Senatorial Administrators, Local Government Supervisors and Ward Agents drawn from across the 203 wards of Ondo State have been successfully trained. In addition, re-training programmes are currently ongoing to onboard more Ward Agents, with the aim of accelerating and deepening the reach of the e-registration exercise across all communities.
There is a strong need for Ondo State to take the lead among progressive states by ensuring massive participation in this exercise. Existing members are expected to have their membership revalidated, while new members are warmly welcomed to join the APC as we continue to build a strong, inclusive and people-oriented party.
In this regard, I appeal to all party leaders at the ward and local government levels to give maximum support and provide the necessary mobilization to actualise the objectives of our National Leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and our State Leader, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
I urge all existing members of the party to revalidate their membership while intending members are also enjoined to register with any of the Ward Agents in their various wards as the party remains one and united under the leadership of the Governor, Hon. (Dr.) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. The onboarding of more Ward Agents is to make the registration process faster and less burdensome.
All party members and those desirous of joining the party are hereby enjoined to participate actively and adhere strictly to the registration deadline of 31st January, 2026.
Together, we shall strengthen our party and consolidate the progressive vision for Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
