Nigeria’s Super Eagles will play Mozambique in the Round of 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The matchup was confirmed after the final Group F games ended on Wednesday night.
Mozambique qualified for the knockout stage even after losing 2–1 to Cameroon. They finished third in the group, behind Ivory Coast and Cameroon.
Nigeria had already secured qualification earlier but went on to finish top of Group C after a convincing 3–1 win against Uganda.
The Round of 16 match between Nigeria and Mozambique will take place on Tuesday in Fez, Morocco.
