Adamawa: Terror Group Sets Christian Village on Fire, Issues Threat

A terrorist group known as the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) has attacked a Christian community in Adamawa State.

Reports say the group burned down a Christian village and released a video showing houses on fire. In the video message, the terrorists warned Christians, asking them to change their religion or face death. They also mentioned payment of a tax as another condition.

A security analyst, Brant Philip, shared the development on social media, explaining that the video and message were released by the group itself.

Many observers believe the attack is a response to recent military airstrikes carried out against terrorist hideouts in northern Nigeria. The air operation was reportedly done by Nigerian forces with support from the United States.

The attack has raised fresh concerns over the safety of communities in the North-East and the ongoing fight against terrorism in Nigeria.
