These terrorists Promised to Give Us Christmas Present, they Were Going To Bomb Churches - Uranta

Sumi Uranta, an author and political analyst, has expressed strong support for the recent US airstrike on a tërrorîst hideout in Sokoto State, ordered by President Donald Trump. He characterized this military action as a vital intervention that thwarted potential attåcks against Nîgerīans during the Christmas season.

In an interview with Voice of the People TV, Uranta referenced public intelligence that indicated terrorîst organizations had made serious threats nationwide, particularly aimed at Christian places of worship.

He stated that these warnings created widespread fear and anxiety among communities.

“These terrörîsts warned that they intended to give Nigerians a Christmas present by bombing churches across the country. In fact, churches were advised against holding crossover services,” Uranta said.

He noted that these threats compelled many churches and religious groups to either scale back or cancel their end-of-year events, highlighting the serious security challenges Nigeria faces and the psychological toll of terrörîsm on daily life.

Uranta argued that the US strike in Sokoto communicated a strong warning to terrör factions in Nîgeria, especially those linked to global extremist organizations.

He emphasized that this action showed that international allies are vigilant regarding threats and prepared to respond when necessary.

Furthermore, he underscored the importance of Nigeria enhancing its own intelligence capabilities, border security, and counterterrorism efforts, cautioning that an overreliance on foreign support would not yield a sustainable solution.
