President Bola Tinubu is happy with Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s work in Rivers State. This was shared by National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, during a visit to the Rivers State Government House in Port Harcourt on Monday.
Ribadu, leading a presidential team including Ministers David Umahi (Works) and Balarabe Lawal (Environment), said Rivers State is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria. He added that efforts to bring lasting peace to Ogoniland are progressing and Nigeria will grow stronger with these changes.
The NSA also thanked Governor Fubara for his leadership, especially on resuming oil exploration in Ogoni, and appreciated the people of Ogoni for their support and patience.
Minister of Works, David Umahi, described the Ogoni peace project as key to Nigeria’s unity.
He confirmed ongoing construction projects, including flyovers on the East–West Road and plans to upgrade the Bonny–Bodo Road and Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway through Ogoniland.
The message is clear: Rivers State is on the path of peace, progress, and development under strong leadership.
