Two Nigerian women, Ngozi Okonjo‑Iweala and Mo Abudu, have been named among Forbes’ 2025 list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women, reflecting their global influence in trade, governance, and media.
Ngozi Okonjo‑Iweala, ranked 92nd, serves as the Director‑General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), making history as the first woman and first African to lead the global trade body. Mo Abudu, ranked 98th, is a renowned media entrepreneur and philanthropist, and the founder of EbonyLife Media.
