A Nigerian lady has ignited heated debate on social media after declaring her non-negotiable relationship standards.
In a viral video, the 26-year-old lady from Enugu State, stated that any engagement ring costing less than ₦1 million would be immediately returned.
She explained that if she found out the cost of her engagement ring was less that a million, she would return it and cancel the engagement, revealing that her current earrings alone are worth ₦6 million.
“I have set my standards and I cannot settle for less,” she insisted.
She further disclosed that her ideal man must earn between ₦6–10 million monthly and own cars.
Netizens have slammed her demands as materialistic, with many arguing that love shouldn’t come with a price tag, while others defended her right to have preferences.
