American hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes has stirred excitement after saying he wants to find a wife in Nigeria and even move here permanently.
The 53-year-old rapper made the statement while performing at the Detty December Festival in Lagos, where he told fans that Nigeria is special to him.
Busta Rhymes said it took him 15 years to finally visit Nigeria, and the experience has made him think seriously about settling down in the country.
According to him, he is already looking for a home and property in Nigeria and hopes to build a family here after retiring from music.
“I’m looking for a home here. I’m also thinking about finding a wife so that when I stop working, I can settle down in Nigeria,” he said.
The rapper is not married but is a father of six children from different relationships.
His comments have since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians welcoming him warmly.
