Ghana Deports Three Israelis Over Alleged Mistreatment of Its Citizens in Tel Aviv

Ghana has taken decisive diplomatic action by deporting three Israeli nationals after receiving reports that Ghanaian travelers were subjected to unfair and degrading treatment at the Tel Aviv Airport.

In a statement issued on December 10, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the move was necessary to protect the dignity and rights of Ghanaian citizens, stressing that Ghana will not tolerate any form of mistreatment against its people anywhere in the world.

The Ministry reaffirmed that Ghana values its long-standing relations with friendly nations — including Israel — but expects mutual respect and humane treatment for its citizens, just as Ghana extends to foreign nationals within its borders.

The government also assured the public that it remains committed to taking all necessary steps to safeguard the welfare of Ghanaians living or traveling abroad.

A bold statement from Accra — and a reminder that national dignity must always come first. 🇬🇭✨
