“Another attack may be Coming” — Primate Ayodele Warns Tinubu Over US Airstrikes

‎Primate Elijah Ayodele has warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to celebrate the recent US military strike in Sokoto, saying the move may trigger dångerous reprisal àttácks from tẹrrọrists and bãndits.

‎According to the cleric, the airstrike on the extremist group could provoke counter-attãcks instead of weakening them — adding that Nigeria’s security problems won’t be solved through foreign intervention alone.

‎He said the strike has exposed the country’s vulnerability and may complicate the fíght against kidnåpping and insurgency.
‎Ayodele cautioned:

‎“Nigerians shouldn’t celebrate yet — and President Tinubu shouldn’t either. This won’t stop insecurity or kidnåpping. Another bombing is coming, and the bandits are ready to counter-attãcks. The government must be fully prepared.”
‎He stressed that Nigeria must strengthen its own security system rather than relying on external powers, warning that Western interests may be driving the intervention more than genuine support.

‎The cleric also called for:
‎🔹 Better coordination within the military
‎🔹 A review of security strategies
‎🔹 Action against individuals negotiating with tẹrrọrists
‎According to him, these “negotiators” are a major threat to national security and should be investigated and prosecuted.
‎While criticizing the strike, Ayodele noted that US involvement may still help expose tẹrrørism financiers in Nigeria — but insisted that real solutions must come from within.
