Ahead Owo Youth Festival, TOYGA Suspends Vice President, Afisulai Aladesukan Excel

The Apex Youth group in Owo local community of Ondo, The Owo Youth General Assembly (TOYGA) has suspended the Vice President Trump Comr. Afisulai Aladesukan Excel for breaching the constitution that uphold the Association. 

This was disclosed in a statement issued by The Owo Youth General Assembly president, Comr. BASHIRU ADEOLA BASH and jointly signed by ALADE OLALEKAN E, the General Secretary of the Association.

This is to inform you effective immediately, you are suspended from your position as Vice President of The Owo Youth General Assembly (TOYGA) Pending a full investigation and disciplinary hearing. This decision has been taken by the Executive Council, in accordance with Article 7 of the TOYGA Constitution, due to serious violations of the Assembly principles and rules.

The charges against you are as follows:

1. Contesting for the position of Assistant General Secretary (AGS) in another youth assembly without prior approval or resignation from TOYGA.

2. Participating in the screening process of the said assembly, thereby compromising your loyalty, integrity, and the mandate of your current office.

These actions are deemed incompatible with the duties, trust, and standards expected of a Vice President of the General Assembly. 

During the suspension period:
1. You are relieved of all duties, privileges, and responsibilities associated with the office of Vice President.
2. All official documents, communications, and access to resources must be handed over to the office of the General Secretary within 48 hours.

The rationale for this action is not punitive but protective to safeguard the principles of merit, fairness, and the General Assembly integrity of TOYGA.
