Several members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State have left the party and joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
A party leader, Austin Okai, shared the news on Monday through his Facebook page. He said the PDP structure in Katsina has broken down, with members defecting from polling units, wards, local government areas, and even the state level to the ADC coalition.
This move is part of a growing wave of politicians and supporters joining ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Recently, about 100,000 supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lega Local Government Area of Kebbi State also left their party to join ADC, showing the party’s rising influence across the country.
