In a recent video shared on Sunday, December 28, 2025, Primate Elijah Ayodele spoke about developments he foresees ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general election, stating that major changes are coming to the country’s political leadership.
According to the cleric, “I see a new Vice President and Senate President, but I don’t know how it’s going to happen,” a statement he said reflects a shift that will surprise many political actors. Ayodele explained that the changes he is seeing are not the result of conventional political arrangements, but outcomes that may emerge through unexpected circumstances.
He noted that the political atmosphere ahead of 2027 will be filled with uncertainty, internal realignments, and power struggles across parties. Ayodele added that forces within the political system may trigger leadership changes without following the usual predictions or calculations of politicians and analysts.
The prophet further warned political leaders not to assume that current positions or alliances automatically guarantee stability going forward. He emphasized that ambitions, betrayals, and internal crises could play significant roles in reshaping leadership structures as the election approaches.
Ayodele also advised Nigerians to watch events in the National Assembly and within the executive arm closely, as he believes signals of these changes will gradually begin to surface.
