Tinubu Orders 24-Hour Air Surveillance in Kwara, Kebbi and Niger

President Bola Tinubu has ordered full security monitoring over the forests in Kwara State, following rising cases of killings, kidnappings and terrorist attacks.

The order also covers Kebbi and Niger States, where many people were recently kidnapped by terrorists.

In a statement shared on X by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Sunday Dare, Tinubu directed the Nigerian Air Force to increase air surveillance in the deep forest areas where the criminals are believed to be hiding.

The statement said the security operation will run for 24 hours every day, with air surveillance working together with security teams on the ground.

It also called on communities to report any strange movement or suspicious activities to help security agencies carry out their work effectively.
