She shared that she began her academic journey with the mindset of graduating with a Second Class Upper. One thing about her is that she tends to limit herself to an average level—once she feels something is difficult to achieve, she settles for what she believes she can handle.
Gift initially felt that a First Class degree was difficult to attain, but along the line, her grades began to skyrocket. Unfortunately, in her second year, her grades dropped drastically, but she was able to bounce back in her third year.
That became a turning point, especially as she was juggling IT and examinations at the same time. Friends and junior colleagues constantly reminded her of the need to finish strong and aim for First Class Honours.
So in her final year, she worked even harder and gave it her best to make those who looked up to her proud. And yes… she achieved it—she graduated with First Class Honours.
