The Ekiti State police command has arraigned one Yakubu Abdulmutolib (32) at the Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti over an alleged stealing.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, said the defendant and one other at large conspired on October 26 at about 2a.m at Cozy Suite Adehun in Ado-Ekiti to steal a pipe, Astral milk, and 8 shisha pots valued at N300,000, property of Cozy Suite and Lounge.
Counsel to the detendant, Barrister Joy Raphael, urged the court to admit her client to bail.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr. Abayomi Adeosun, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must be civil servants.
The case was adjourned till November 24, for hearing.
