Doctor says I have just five years to live - Actress Kemi Afolabi reveals

“Nothing but the unsearchable ways of God has kept me alive like you said, He does as He pleases. I get emotional whenever I talk about the ṣīckn£á¹£s, but it’s now in the past because I know God has deliver£d me from it.

When I was on my sickbed, I couldn’t eat or drink and had to breathe with the help of oxygen. I had even bought my grave and written my will. But God stepped in and said my time had not yet come. By His power and with the support of my fans, family members who stood by me, and colleagues who surprised me with their love, both those close to me and those I never expected I survived.

Lupus has claimed many lives, and many are still battling it. But when it happens to a public figure, people tend to seek more knowledge about it. I had never even heard of lupus before I was diagnosed. Before then, I was misdiagnosed with different illnesses until they finally discovered it was lupus an autoimmune disease that causes the body’s own systems to fight against each other.”
