Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen was on fire again as he scored two goals to help Galatasaray defeat Bodø/Glimt 3–1 in their UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday.
Osimhen opened the scoring early in the 3rd minute after a fine pass from Mario Lemina, before adding another in the 33rd minute when he took advantage of a defensive mistake by Bodø/Glimt’s Fredrik Bjørkan.
Yunus Akgün made it 3–0 in the 60th minute, while Andreas Helmersen pulled one back for the visitors in the 74th minute.
The brace means Osimhen has now scored in seven straight European games, reaching 11 Champions League goals, a new record for Galatasaray.
With this win, the Turkish champions remain strong contenders in their group.
