‎A divørced Nigerian woman has advised women to stay committed to their marriages and relationships, insisting that there is ‘nothing outside’ worth leaving for.
‎Her advice, shared in a viral TikTok video, has sparked widespread reactions online.

‎The woman, identified on TikTok as @rhoda2369, told her followers that despite difficulties, women should remain in their marriages or relationships.
‎According to her, leaving a relationship should only happen under extreme circumstances, particularly when there is physical abuse.
‎She said: “Stay put in your marriage. Stay put with your fiancée. Stay put with your boyfriend, whatever it is that you have going on. It is not rosy out there. The only time that I advise that you leave your marriage is when there is a physical abuse or violence.”
‎Lessons from Her Own Experience
‎Rhoda spoke openly about her past marriage, recounting a påinful experience where she considered leaving her husband after catching him talking to another woman.
‎She revealed that her husband allegedly thrëätened to divorce her and take her money and property.
‎“My husband dey follow another lady dey talk say him go divørce me. He say him go divørce me carry my money. Say him go collect all my property, divørce me collect him child,” she said.
‎Despite these challenges, she uses her story to encourage women to carefully weigh their decisions before leaving a marriage.
