OGOGA , BOUESTI SUG Members, CSA Officially Implements new reduced House rent fees for Students

The Ogoga of Ikere Kingdom, in partnership with the Student Union Government and the Concerned Students Association (CSA), has formally introduced reduced housing rental fees throughout Ikere to alleviate financial pressure on students and residents of the community.

Under the new policy, rental costs for luxury self-contained apartments, single rooms have been significantly lowered.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that rent will now be paid on an annual basis, rather than per academic session as previously required.

Students are encouraged to report any instances of unjust eviction directly to the Dean of Student Affairs or the Student Union Government executives.

The agreement was formally endorsed by the Ogoga in Council (Ikere Kingdom), the Dean of Student Affairs, the Ikere Youth Supreme Council, both elected and incumbent SUG representatives, the NAIS National Body, and the Concerned Students Association.

This initiative was implemented to address the escalating cost of rent in the community, prompted by a recent altercation involving a student and a house agent.
