Gov. Fubara Inspects Key Road Projects to Boost Connectivity in Rivers State

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and enhancing connectivity across the state, following an inspection of two major road projects.

The governor visited the Emohua–Ogbakiri–Egbelu Road and the Tema–Buguma–Degema–Abonnema Road, both of which are expected to ease transportation, improve access, and stimulate economic activities in the affected communities.

Governor Fubara disclosed that the contractor has been remobilized to site, assuring that, “God willing, the projects will be completed by the end of the year.”

He commended the host communities for their cooperation, noting that their support reflects a shared understanding of the importance of the two strategic routes to the state’s development.

The ongoing projects align with the administration’s broader agenda to deliver people-centered infrastructure and connect all parts of Rivers State through durable road networks.
