Diddy Begins Prison Sentence at FCI Fort Dix

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has officially checked in at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal correctional facility in New Jersey, to begin serving his 50-month prison sentence.

Law enforcement sources confirm that Diddy was transferred early Thursday morning from the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, where he had been held since September 2024. His legal team requested Fort Dix to allow him access to rehabilitation programs, family visitation, and support for substance abuse recovery.

While conditions at Fort Dix are reportedly less harsh than at MDC, Diddy’s attorney, Mark Geragos, warned that the rapper still faces serious safety concerns, saying his client “has a target on his back.”

Diddy’s projected release date is May 8, 2028, though this could change based on conduct and participation in rehabilitation programs.
