Cubana Chief Priest offers to sponsor 50 students per department in Clifford University

Nigerian celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has stirred social media after announcing plans to pay school fees for 50 students from every department at Clifford University.

The nightlife entrepreneur made the declaration in a viral post that quickly attracted nationwide attention, with students and fans flooding the internet with mixed reactions.

While many hailed the gesture as a sign of compassion during tough economic times, others doubted its feasibility, describing it as another “audio promise”.

Students react with excitement and sarcasm

Shortly after the announcement, Clifford University students flooded the comments section with prayers, laughter, and playful banter.

Fifty students from every department? Bro about to trend harder than the VC,” one user joked.

Another quipped, “Clifford students about to start praying for ‘Chief Priest 101’ as a new course.”

Still, others expressed cautious optimism, with one user commenting, “Hope nor be audio ooo,” reflecting doubts over whether the pledge will actually happen.
