In a grand display of commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon. Gbenga Eleduma, on behalf of the National Productivity Centre, today empowered thousands of artisans, students, and market women in Oke-mapo, Owo Local Government Area.
The empowerment program, which drew hundreds of beneficiaries and dignitaries, was hailed as one of the largest and most impactful initiatives ever witnessed in the constituency.
Artisans from the Plumbers and Woodworkers Association received working tools and grants to boost their trades, while students were gifted brand new laptops to enhance their academic pursuits.
Market women, too, benefited from the program, receiving a substantial business grant to support their entrepreneurial endeavors. The beneficiaries were overjoyed, expressing gratitude to the APC-led administration of President Tinubu and Hon. Gbenga Eleduma for the life-changing empowerment.
HRM, Oba Alaba Omotunde Adako Ebiyanmi (Irensin II), The Oliyere Of Iyere, Owo, in his remarks, congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to utilize the empowerment wisely. The APC Party Chairman, Hon. Samuel Balogun, commended Hon. Eleduma for his exceptional display of leadership and charged others to emulate his example.
Other dignitaries in attendance included the Oloba of Uso, Oba (Engr.) Dr. Oyinbade Ademola PhD, represented by a high-ranking chief; the representative of the Council Chairman; the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Adedoyin Adebayo-Adeyefa; and the representative of the National Productivity Centre.
