Rt. Hon. Olugbobeyega Aribisogan has
officially resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) as of 31 July 2025.
In a letter addressed to Mr Kehinde Awoleye, Chairman of APC Ward 7, ljesa Isu Ekiti, Aribisogan stated that ongoing PhD research and other challenges necessitated prioritising his well-being.
Despite his best efforts, he felt continuing membership would compromise his principles.
He expressed gratitude for the support and opportunities during his time with the party.
Aribisogan served as Speaker in Ekiti State and thanked the party for their understanding regarding his decision to step down.
