Nigerian man on Facebook named Mauvic Times has wondered how Nigerians eating oyino food abroad survives.
Mauvic shared his experience when he moved to Australia, says he was just eating junks and had no idea how to get Nigerian food. To crown it all a friend took him out to celebrate and he was served leafs, Mauvic said he complained and they just added a little fish.
In his words:
"People that eat oyibo food abroad, how do they even survive.
When i came new to Australia, the first few days was hard for me because I was living on junks. I couldn't fathom how best to get my Nigerian type of food, so that put me in a serious mess because how can I live without my garri, beans and better soup. That is by the way 😆.
A friend just took me out to celebrate and what I just saw in front of me is just ordinary leaf everywhere, and when I complained, they just added a small part of fish. Ladies and gentlemen, please am asking how does oyibo feed on all these leaves and survive? "😆
