Top Nigerian dancer & choreographer, Kaffy, has revealed how her once-rich family løst everything, førcing her to grow up in hardship despite being born into luxury.
🎙️ On the Honest Bunch Podcast, the 45-year-old dance icon shared how her parents, once in the league of MKO Abiola, went from spraying dollars at Lagos parties to her father working as a cleaner in London.
👉 “There were times when there was no food for weeks. Hunger is a mentor. I drank garri for 7 months without break,” she said.
Kaffy also recalled how the traǔma affected her mother, who sometimes suffered breakdowns and blamed the children for her frǔstrations.
From that painful past, Kaffy has risen to become one of Nigeria’s most successful dancers & choreographers — a true story of resilience and reinvention. 💪🏽
