Osimhen Transfer Saga a Disgrace — Ahmet Çakar Slams Galatasaray’s Kavukcu, Agent

Former Turkish referee Ahmet Çakar has criticized Galatasaray vice president Abdullah Kavukcu and agent George Gardi for tarnishing the reputation of the Turkish giants. Despite offering a substantial sum to secure Victor Osimhen, they have not yet succeeded in signing the Napoli striker.

Galatasaray are eager to permanently sign Osimhen after the Nigerian player spent last season on loan with them.

However, Napoli has not yet responded to Galatasaray's latest offer of 75 million for Osimhen.

Galatasaray officials have also gone back to Istanbul without successfully reaching an agreement with Napoli, a situation that displeases Çakar as well as Kavukcu and Gardi.

Çakar expressed his views, saying, "I commend Abdullah Kavukcu and broker Gardi for their handling of the situation with Osimhen. They offered 75 million euros but were unable to secure him, resulting in what I see as a significant embarrassment for Galatasaray" (as reported by habersarikirmizi).

Osimhen has expressed a clear desire to depart from Napoli this summer.
