Sharia Law, operates alongside secular courts in some northern states, handling civil matters for Muslims, which has sparked debates about Nigeria's secular constitution.
Freedom of Religious Rights in Nigeria, The freedom of religious rights is a fundamental human right in Nigeria, but it's often challenged in various localities and parastatals. Guard Time Information, Human Rights Activists Nationwide has conducted research revealing the challenges to religious freedom, intimidation and abuses. Religious freedom and rights are often intimidated and abused in some localities and parastatals.
